We show up at the Mission Arlington office at 8:30 and have a short worship time before the day begins. We then fill up our water coolers, grab boxes for the apartments that we are going to then head out. The two complexes in the morning are pretty close to Mission Arlington and to each other. Luckily they are just around the corner from each other. This morning we actually got to the complex about an hour early so we had time to pray and spend some time in the Word before we actually started. At 10:15 we start going and knocking on all of the doors in the apartment complex to invite people to come hang out with us. About 10:30 we start playing games with all the kids and just getting to know them. There is lots of bonding that takes place when you're beating each other with a water noodle!! Then we get into our memory verse, testimonies, songs, Bible story, and crafts. Mission Arlington has a well laid out plan of how they want these things to run so it makes it pretty easy on us. Then after all of that is done we usually play some more games and then our students walk the kids back to their apartments. We are done about 11:45 so the whole morning takes about hour and half.

We then eat lunch till 1:15 and come back to Mission Arlington for another worship time and to talk about how things are going. Then we head out to the second apartment complexes to do the same thing. This year our afternoon complexes are a long ways away though. One of our groups is about 35 min. from Mission Arlington.

I won't take too much more time but I wanted to let you know what our days look like. Once again it was nice and cool at 102 here in Arlington. Both groups went really well today and the our teenagers are working hard. It was a good day today. Please keep praying for us.
